Eric Strocen graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law where he was involved in several organizations. While attending Law School Mr. Strocen was a member of the University of Oklahoma Rugby club while working as a Teaching Assistant for the Master’s in Indigenous Studies program and working as a top rated Uber driver on the weekends. Mr. Strocen began his practice in 2021 working for a non-profit law firm assisting Oklahomans with eviction defense. Prior to joining Cannon and Associates he spent two years independently managing a large caseload in a variety of practice areas. Additionally, his experience extends not only to those having State law issues but also those needing assistance in the Tribal Courts of the Cherokee Nation. 

Outside of the courtroom Mr. Strocen is extremely competitive and enjoys playing a variety of sports and games. Prior to law school he was a member of his undergraduate intstitution’s Men’s wrestling team and was a regular in the intramural chess club. He continues to enjoy playing sports, games, and beating his nephews to the finish line in impromptu footraces. While not a native to Oklahoma, he feels that this state adopted him at a key point in his life. Mr. Strocen believes that none of us get where we are alone and wants his clients to feel that someone is in their corner at every step of the way.

Mr. Strocen is very comfortable in a courtroom having appeared regularly since becoming licensed in 2021. During Law School he participated in Moot Court oral argument competitions winning several honors for his oral advocacy skills. Additionally, he spent time honing his negotiation skills as a member of the Negotiations Competition Team. Team-work and leadership are extremely important to Mr. Strocen and he will strive to work through your unique situation. As your Fierce Advocate it will be his mission to ensure you do not face this trying time alone.
