Client Review

John did a very good job. Although the outcome was not 100% what we expected(strange judgement) it was overall positive. I would, have and will continue to recommended him. Although I certainly hope to not need his services again in the capacity I hired him for I would not hesitate to call if I do. Thanks John

The crime of robbery is basically an aggravated larceny: it is a wrongful taking of personal property in the possession of another, from his person or immediate presence, and against his will, accomplished by means of force or fear. Common in robbery are confrontation, intimidation, and violence. First degree robbery involved serious bodily injury or the threat of immediate serious bodily injury. If serious bodily injury is missing, the crime is mitigated to second degree robbery. Basically, robbery in the second degree is any robbery short of robbery in the first degree.

Oklahoma Statutes

The statute for Robbery in the Second Degree is OKLA. STAT. tit. 21 § 791, which states that “Robbery in the First Degree is when, in the course of committing the theft, the defendant: Inflicts serious bodily injury upon the person; Threatens a person with immediate serious bodily injury; Intentionally puts a person in fear of immediate serious bodily injury; or Commits or threatens to commit a felony upon the person. When accomplished in any other manner, it is robbery in the second degree.”
