IDAP Application
IDAP APPLICATION The Impaired Driver Accountability Program (“IDAP”) provides an opportunity for you to enroll in a program to avoid revocation of your driver’s license following a DUI or Actual Physical Control (APC) arrest. In Oklahoma, when you are arrested for DUI or APC, you will receive a notice of driver’s license revocation, which becomes effective 30 days after the event.
You may contest your driver’s license revocation or apply to IDAP. If you successfully complete IDAP, then no license revocation will appear on your driving record and you do not have to pay a reinstatement fee. However, there are down sides and costs to consider with IDAP as well.
Please visit the other informational pages on our website for more information about IDAP and the pros and cons of participation.
